What is
Receipts
The line between the story and the real world.
A Receipt is a real document: a council paper, a letter, a poster, a blog, a vote. Each one has a number in the books. The number leads here, to the document itself, with its date and what has happened since, because those things change and books don't.
If something in the story has a Receipt, it's real. If it hasn't, it's story.
Ania shows what the documents record. She doesn't tell you what to think, and she never comments on any individual.
